The syllabus for FACT and FACT Plus 2026 is designed to provide a balanced understanding of forensic science along with practical and analytical skills.
Section A – Forensic Aptitude covers the fundamentals of forensic science, crime scene management, evidence handling, and basic analytical reasoning, along with an introduction to new criminal laws (BNS, BNSS, BSA).
Section B – Specialized Subject focuses on in-depth knowledge of selected domains such as forensic biology, chemistry, toxicology, questioned documents, and crime scene investigation, emphasizing real-world application.
